Education Consultant

As an Education Consultant, your primary focus is to convert our customers into enthusiastic clients so they'll continue to use our products ad services for years to come. After the initial needs analysis, you will be the primary point of contact for the customer, maintaining and building the client relationship while determining, organizing, and delivering the products and services needed. You will become an extension of their team working with teachers, principals, and administrators to help them improve their students' learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish relationships with key members of the district leadership.
  • Conduct a District Needs Analysis and determine the products and services needed to address the needs identified.
  • Develop an implementation plan for each district to maximize usage of Pro-Ed products and services in meeting curricular, instructional, and assessment needs.
  • Train school administrators and teachers on site to use Pro-Ed products and services.
  • Solve client issues by going on site to determine the problem and working with the Pro-Ed product development team to resolve issues.
  • Secure top customer references from principals, school administrators, teachers, and parents.
  • Ensure that school districts renew our products and services and work with district leadership to up-sell new schools within those districts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 5+ years as a K-12 public school teacher/administrator
  • 3+ years experience working directly with educators in a company serving the K-12 public education market
  • Excellent communication skills: speaking, presenting, and writing
  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and follow through
  • Solid understanding of computer/internet technologies
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel frequently
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Account management / customer service experience a big plus
  • Accredited teaching credentials
  • Passionate about school reform
  • Understanding of educational technology solutions
  • Proposal and grant writing experience
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively remotely
